Gopal Krishan Strings Foundation
We at GKSF are committed to promote Classical Art Forms of India. We provide a platform to the upcoming artists and conduct concerts of renowned artists.
We work selflessly in order to promote various “Traditional Art Forms of India”. Gopal Krishan Strings Foundation is a Section 8 company which has a very comprehensive MOA. Our Motto is to promote Indian Classical Music, Western Music, Light Music, Drama and various other forms of Fine Arts by means of organizing Cultural Programs and Workshops at various levels (Including Schools and Universities) in order to create awareness towards Rich Heritage and Culture of India.
Our Directors:
Ms. Swati Sharma:An educationist who has taught Business Management for 25 years in a reputed Public School of Delhi and has received many awards for her excellent Board Results. She has also worked as Cultural and Career Counsellor and has coordinated many cultural events.
Mr. Akshat Sharma:
An MBA Finance who has worked as Business Analyst with a Reputed MNC. Pursuing his dream and passion for music, Akshat conceptualized the idea of Gopal Krishan Strings Foundation in order to create a platform for the promotion of both Art and Artists.
Akshat has performed for both All India Radio and Doordarshan. He specializes in Slide Guitar and has been learning it under the Guru Shishya Parampara from his father Pt. Shri Krishan Sharma (Internationally Acclaimed Artist). Akshat is the Fourth Generation who is carrying forward the musical legacy of the family.
